Somebody once said, “your troubles aren’t because you did something wrong, but because you’re doing something right!” it may not seem like your gaining ground, but remember that wonderful hymn “God moves in mysterious ways.” I did not write the hymn. But as I praised the Lord, I improvised some lines to it.
“God moves in mysterious ways” by William Cowper.
1. God moves in mysterious ways, his wonders to perform.
He plants his footsteps in the sea, and rides upon the storm.
2. ye fearful saints, fresh courage take, the clouds ye so much dread,
Are big with mercy and shall break, in blessings on your head
3. judge not the lord by feeble means, but trust him for his grace.
Behind a frowning providence, he hides a smiling face.
These verses were added later out of inspiration. RWB.
4. when the clouds are parted, the sun shines bright and warm
You find he held your feeble hand, and guided all along.
5. So with your loved one’s kneeling, and the family gathers round
His glory fills your bosom, you stand on holy ground!
6. OH praise the Lord forever, let your voices ring!
The angels are rejoicing, the victory songs to sing.
keep pressing for the kingdom! God is closer than you think!
